Dance of the Moonflower is an ecological science-fantasy TTRPG set on the strange celestial body known as Makuru. You are tasked with exploring Makuru's ecosystems whilst reckoning with what it means to be a part of its design.This game focuses on what it means to build and care for connections with the world around you. People, animals, plants. As a Researcher, you’ll explore ecosystems, observe and learn from the world around you.

Locales are merely the clean lines we’ve cut into an otherwise fluid gradient of large biomes and niche ecosystems.Explore a planet with diverse ecology embodied in distinct locales, each with their own cycles, creatures and culture.

In Dance of the Moonflower, Taonga are a core mechanic in defining who you are. They track players' health, plot hooks and aspects of their personality.What are items precious to your Researcher and what special meanings do they carry?
